Remote access setup on RV50X using an APN

I am setting up an RV50x to act as a gateway to access a datalogger and a Trimble alloy cGNSS receiver. I have used specific templates in the past and recently I lost the ability to access these stations remotely. I am on the AT&T APN service and both gateways are connected to the APN network. I have not been able to ping or access Ace Manager via the static IP associated with the APN. The Trimble unit will be IP pass through enabled. This worked in the past but now I can’t reach the Trimble through the RV50x.

Any tips or advice is appreciated.

Maybe I can help. We use RV50x. Let me make sure I understand the problem - reads like you had a working connection but now you do not. You can not reach the RV50x now. And the RV50x is remote or at a different physical location that you. Do I have this right?

I have one still on location but the other is back at the office for testing and configuration. Both locations are in areas where there is service but the service can drop.

I understand now. That additional information is great! To further isolate the issue, I have a new question about this scenario - the one that is back at the office, when the RV50x has service, can you communicate with it? asking because I understand the service can drop.

Also, can you share a log from the RV50x? would love to see these messages.

Also, FYI. The suggested method to capture the logs is here,

To collect, the procedure is,

Go AceManager > Admin > Configure Logging

Set all log levels to DEFAULT

Set Linux Syslog to DISPLAY

Reboot the gateway

Perform your test again.

Go Admin → View log → Download Logs

Hi @jchaky,

Welcome to our community!
Besides the log, please collect the template logs by the instructions and send both the log and the template log to me for troubleshooting.
The configuration template file is in ACEmanager → Template, provide any name you desire for the Template Name, and then press Download to retrieve the template file.

Thanks,
