Before I installed my phone company APN, I dialed out and got a CONNECT using the semicolon after the number. But there were no signals on the PCM interface, so I checked the network setup. There was an APN “ims” and “sos” for example. When I installed my APN it disconnected and reconnected automatically and no errors. I tried rebooting also. It all seems correct but now it will not connect when I try to dial out.
I put it back. Thankfully I remembered what was there.
AT+CGDCONT=2,“IPV4V6”,“ims”
OK
AT+CGACT=2,1
OK
AT+CFUN=1,1 (reboot)
!GSTATUS
. . .
IMS Srv State: FULL SMS,FULL VoIP

Now it connects when I dial out. Still no signal on the PCM. I don’t know what the audio profiles have to do with it. The 0, 8, and 9 are configured. There are no others that list under !AVCFG. I will worry about the signal format later. I just want to see outputs on the clock and data lines.
The AT!AVPIFACEPREF was set to F already. I set it to D but still no output.
I did an AT!AVSETPROFILE=0 to set to the first valid profile I have.
!AVSETPROFILE: 0,0,0,0,3,0
Still no output But the AT guide says !AVSETPROFILE “Select/configure audio profile for CS call”
The RC7611 is VoLTE only. No “circuit switched” calling. So I am not sure about this command use.
All the PCM data lines are high impedance inputs. I noticed when I dialed out and connected there was burst noise on them. Not digital. Then I tested by using a resistor to pull them up or down. They are all set up as inputs. I am surprised because this module has been out a year and the PCM audio in the datasheet has not been implemented yet. I have not seen any notification about this.
