I am having problems with the Multiplexing of the I/O pins. When using the Hello_world code on the Dev. Kit, everything works just fine. However when I move the Q2687 to my own hardware platform, I cannot even get the UART1 to work. I noticed that pin43, GPIO0 is producing a 32kHz square wave. On the dev kit this does not appear. To me this suggests that the pin multiplex is operating. Can anyone explain how this could have happened?
For me, it looks like your hardware platform problem. 32 kHz on pin 43 may indicate that module can’t startup and clock signal appears by default (hardware).
