Power Up BC127

I have a BC 127 module hooked up with a PIC ( tx and rx) . The BC127 is powered as per configuration Fixed Voltage Application1 in the documentation.( Pins 30,31,32,33 to VCC 3.3V) . Vregen and Reset not connected.

When left a long time the module does not start at first power application. Seems to be totally locked.After a bit if power cycled again the module starts. Seems that a cap is charged and allows the module to start…

Any ideas?Thx

Emil,

So do you mean if the BC127 after successfully powering up is left for a period of time it refuses to respond?

Can you send the following commands to the unit?

status
config
