No network connection

Hello,

I have a problem with my Q2687 that it’s impossible to make a connection of the network.

Normally, when you turn on the module, it must connect to the network operator. But it doesn’t with mine.
I’ve tried 3 simcards of different operators, but none of them actually works.

What could be wrong? I was thinking about the pin, but this is disabled for the simcard.

at+creg?
+CREG: 1,2

Meaning:
1 = enable network registration code result code +CREG: <stat>
2 = not registered, ME currently searching for a new operator

So it can’t register … ?

at+cops?
+COPS: 1

Meaning manual operator selection

If I want to set the operator selection to automatic (=0), I get error:

at+cops=0
ERROR

Can someone help me out?

I have also another GSM module from siemens, and there it works well

at+cops?
+COPS: 0,0,"BEL PROXIMUS"

OK
at+cops=?
+COPS: (2,"BEL PROXIMUS",,"20601"),(3,"B mobistar",,"20610"),(3,"BASE",,"20620")
,,(0-4),(0,2)

So I’m connected to BEL PROXIMUS after a few seconds.

Using the wavecom module, it doesn’t work?

It was at 4,0 … and in Europa, it must be 5,0 …
