Someone has messed up the device ID list in the qmi_wwan driver. Probably by using the “new_id” sysfs attribute. We can see the driver attempting to probe both serial functions and the MBIM function. It won’t do that in a default installation. Instead the modem will just work.
One of many ways you can shoot yourself in the foot. There are plenty more to try.
What is the fix please
This obviously depends on who messed up your system and why. Hard for me to guess. But I would have tried to start there. Forget about the modem. The problem isn’t there. Who installed the software on your system? Who configured it? When you have the answers to those questions, then you know who to ask for a fix.
It is a new product and it is there since we unboxed it
