I want to connect my Starlink to my rv50x . So I can access my telnet terminal in job sites. I can’t even access the Ace Manager. It use to be working with a Verizon sim card. But now I want to connect it to my Starlink to get service.
I was finally able to access the Ace Manager… Now I need help connecting it to My Star link
Hi @reynaldoreyna83,
Welcome to our community!
As far as I know, Starlink is similar to a regular carrier that provides internet service via SIM.
Therefore, please check with the operator providing Starlink SIM to confirm which frequency bands are supported, and I will further check whether those bands are compatible with RV50/RV50X.
Thanks,
Starlink doesn’t use a SIM card . It’s sattilite Internet. I was wondering if some how I could connect my Starlink to the rv 50x. So when I don’t have service on my Verizon sim card the Starlink can back it up. Or set Starlink as primary service provider and Verizon secondary
Hi @reynaldoreyna83,
In theory, the gateway device of Semtech has two connection interfaces: Ethernet and Cellular.
In your case, your RV50X will connect to Starlink via the Cellular interface, so Starlink needs to have a SIM card to connect.
Thanks,
