MP70 Sending GPS Location Locally

I am using the MP70 to send GPS location locally thru USB Serial to the computer.
When the modem loses GPS, it still seems to send GPS information thru the serial port, even though there is no GPS lock.

has anyone experienced this?
running firmware 4.16.0

Can you provide an output of the GPS information over serial?
