We have the MP70 and currently have verizon sim cards. We have been trying to switch from verizon to T-mobile, but the modem can never connect. We plug the verizon sim back in and it works. We did change the ADN to T-mobiles, still no luck. Any advice?
Hi @bperry,
Welcome to our community!
- Based on your description, MP70 router may only be using Verizon’s radio module firmware, so when a T-Mobile SIM is inserted, the router cannot connect to the network.
- Please recheck the “Firmware” information in the Admin > Radio Module Firmware tab to see if Sprint (T-Mobile) firmware has been loaded. If not, please install the firmware.
Please refer to the Radio Module Firmware section on page 418 of the Software Configuration User Guide for AirLink MP70 at the following link for more information: source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/software_reference_docs/airlink-mp-series—configuration-guide/ - Additionally, please ensure that your T-Mobile SIM card is still working properly and it is using correct APN. You can confirm this with the network provider.
- If you have completed all above steps and the issue persists, please share both the log file and the template file of the MP70 with me.
Thanks,
