Modem RC7611-1, Need to Update firmware for power management issue

do you mean the USB of the RC76 module is now connecting to Windows 11?

no module is soldered in my device. currently I’m accessing the device via ssh through USB in window 11. for communicating with Modem directly, we don’t have any direct provisions apart from AT commands.

two questions, please give answer clearly:

  1. please confirm straight forwardly whether we can upgrade firmware via OTA in field or not ??

  2. what about locally, any other possible ways for upgrading it ??

  1. no idea, never try this so old firmware, you can make some test
  2. what is the OS of the ssh device? Is it linux? If yes, you can use MBPL tool to upgrade firmware

i’m using putty software

what is the OS of the ssh device? Is it linux?

can you please confirm with your technical team whether we can able to upgrade firmware via OTA or not ?

BTW, what is the AT command log at your side when you connect to Airvantage server?

i’m accessing device through Putty software, which is open source. OS is window 11.

you don’t understand my question
your Win11 is connecting to an embedded system which is connecting to the module
I am asking what is the OS of the embedded system

BTW, what is the AT command log at your side when you connect to Airvantage server?

our embedded system is using Linux OS .

you can use MBPL tool to upgrade firmware

my concerns are all about field devices. i’m asking straight forward question whether the module will support OTA or not??
if not, then what are the possible ways to upgrade the firmware in the field?

you can use MBPL tool to upgrade firmware
