MC7710 frameware upgrade

Hello

i’m using MC7710 and i need to upgrade its firmware to have direct-ip firmware , i have BZ31018_DIP_QMI_ModeSwitch ,

the question is how to load the firmware into the module ? shall i have to connect it to card reader or any other way ?

i have tried to connect it to my PC but there is no PCI-e port can fit it .

any help is highly appreciated

Hi,

MC7710 uses standard Mini-PCIe interface and Sierra has such development kit available.

Perhaps you can check with your distributor or FAE for the kit and FW upgrade tool?
