LX40 wont come out of standby mode

Hi,
I booted up an LX40 router for the first time.
It booted up no problem.
I then changed the IP address in the ethernet settings and rebooted via the ACEmanager.
Since I hit reboot the router is stuck in standby mode.

Hi @oisin.gribben,

Welcome to our community!

  • What is the voltage rating of the power source you are using for the LX40?

→ In the hardware user guide, it mentions that: The LX40 supports an operating voltage of 7 V–36 V, but because low voltage standby mode is enabled by default, you must supply more than 9 V at startup.

→ Please refer to page 20 of the LX40 Hardware User Guide at the following link: https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/hardware_reference_docs/airlink_lx40_userguide/#sthash.1jQSQgTr.dpbs

  • How does the LED behavior on the LX40 appear? Does the Power LED display solid red?
  • Please refer to section ‘Low Voltage Standby Mode - How do I get my LX40 out of Low Voltage Standby mode?’ on page 513 of the Software Configuration User Guide for AirLink LX40 to see if it helps.
