LTE TDD and FDD mode

Hello,

I am using a MC7455 module and I would like to know how to switch between LTE FDD and LTE TDD.
There is an AT command for that ?
The goal is to be able to test the two modes. I saw into the AT command reference document that we have to use a "call box " to test the LTE what is that ?

Thank you,

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

You don’t have to switch between TDD and FDD.
The MC7455 only supports B41 TDD. Just setup a callbox for B41 TDD and the modem will attach to it.
BW should be between 5 and 20MHz ( please read the PTS)

Callboxes are simulating LTE NTWKs for example R&S’ CMW500 or Amarisoft.

Thanks,

Hi, my modem is Arcadyan Aw1000 Telstra, and I recently installed OWRT Golden Orb, and in Network settings there is no option to change TDD to FDD, conversely and it only connects to LTE-TDD … and I could connect to the network in both modes in my previous modem … (Even though the towers are close) It doesn’t find anything and is constantly restarted, but as soon as the TDD band (40,41,42,…) activated after restart, it will be connected to TDD cell again … If you know what to send in AT+Command to be able to switch between TDD and FDD, please let me know… thank you …

you can use AT!BAND command to choose different band

Could you please write the entire command for me? For example: At-qcfg=etc , I mean, if that’s actually necessary… or should I just type; At!Band?
Thank you…

you can see the example:

BTW, which Sierra module are you using now?
