Issue Reading GPS Location Coordinates on mangOH Yellow

Hello!

I am currently trying to read the GPS location coordinates of my mangOH Yellow, but no updated data has ever appeared on the cloud stream in Octave.

I am using a Sierra Wireless Airlink Paddle Cellular Antenna on the GNSS/GPS antenna connector, and even tried adding a second paddle antenna on the main antenna connector. I am currently getting 1/5 bars of signal strength.

I would appreciate any help on how I can get the GPS coordinates to read in Octave! Thanks in advance.

May I know some information about your device

  1. What device are you using?
  2. What FW version is it running?
  3. Does device connect to your PC? If yes, please show me your Device Manager screen, assuming that you are using Window OS

I am using Mac OS, so I have attached a screenshot of the relevant System Information. Please me know if there are any other details I can provide.

I also have the same issue. I can’t read GPS coordinates on Octave. I am using the integrated antenna on my mangOH yellow. It would be great if you could check my device as well. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

Yes, please help to re-check below things

  1. Can your device synchronize with Octave server?
  2. Can you see other resource values updated on Octave server?
    If 2 above items are good, then do the next check.
  3. Does your device already has location information? You can check this by making ssh session to your device then using dhub command. Please send “dhub list /app/coordinates/value” on terminal.
