HTTP channel noob question

Hello there,

I would like to ask a very simple question i didn’t get through the datasheets.

If i want to use the HTTP functions provided by WIP do i have to firstly connect via TCP socket or i can go ahead straight forward and after connecting to the Internet open a HTTP channel and make my HTTP gets? Does the HTTP API connects by itself through a TCP socket to the Server?

You dont need to open a socket. Look in the manual for the http commands.
