How to poll are remote device over VPN

I’m looking to have a software system poll a remote device that is using a Sierra RV55, but we want to via a VPN tunnel. See diagram.

Essentially, I want the Supervisory software to poll DeviceA which is remotely installed via a Sierra RV55. Is this possible using the Sierra as an OpenVPN client?

if so, what’s critical such that the Supervisory System can poll 192.168.100.101 on port 16387? Do we use port forwarding? Any general guidance on how to do this would be appreciated.

The AirLink router RV55 can use as an OpenVPN client.
