I am trying to configure a GL8200 modem to look like a working GL8200.
Despite several tests and a similar configuration, it does not communicate.
Do you know how to extract a configuration from one modem and inject it into another modem?

Your help would be welcome, I’m starting to run out of ideas here.
The GL8200 does not support extracting configuration from one modem and injecting it into another modem.
Are you using the same GL8200 firmware version on both modems?
Please download the latest firmware and retry. Firmware GL8200
Could you describe in more detail the issue on GL8200?
Please share with me the AT commands log file what you want to do step by step i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. I will help you to analyze the issue.
I have just upgraded my GL8200 modem to 5.26 and I can no longer enter an AT command.
Before this the problem was that when doing an AT+CGACT? I had the result 1.0
So I was doing an AT+CGACT=1.1 but a short time later he picks up the network again.
For information I have another GL8200 in 5.22 which connects at the first time without configuration.
Is it possible to downgrade from version 5.24 or 5.25 to version 5.22?
Resetting the GL8200 could be done by simply unplugging and then re-plugging the power supply (VIN-VBUS). In addition to Sierra Wireless’ reliable recovery mechanisms, it is highly recommended that the ability for a cycle to reboot the modem be included in the design in case the modem becomes blocked and stops responding to reset commands.
I just tried to downgrade the GL8200 modem (version 5.25) to version 5.22 and I get an error :
Device synchronized.

It might depend on the age of your module, the unit was initially designed with two qualified memories as you would expect for good design practice to cater for EOL’s.
