Hi all,

We are taking a Verizon certification and this time they asked us to perform a test with the Motive Bridge platform from Nokia. (We normally used AirVantage)

This is about connecting to their server for FOTA. So we have to make a third. I was following the instructions and then I had this

I checked Section 10. AVMS Commands in the AT commands reference and tried this

AT+WDSTPF=0,“coaps://ddocdpboot.do.motive.com:5684”
ERROR

then I tried this and I see it accepts HTTPS.

AT+WDSTPF=0,“https://ddocdpboot.do.motive.com:5684”
OK

So can I get the COAPS there? Am I thinking the right way?

Hi @joao.bino,

If you want to do third party FOTA via https, you need to put that FW on https server and use AT+WDSTPF command.

For Verizon, it uses a different FOTA method and server is Nokia Motive server, it does not relate to the above command.

Please let me know how you would like to do it.

In this case, it’s better you should contact to the nearest Sierra distributor for more detailed information as well as further instructions.
