HL7588 firmware crash?

Hi… I’m struggling to get an HL7588 working. I’m pretty sure I’m doing everything ‘right’, and everything seems to work right. Everything sets up and works OK, but the moment I try anything heavier than a ping or a really light web page, the module resets itself. The problem is reproducible going over the UART via a serial port, MBIM mode over USB, and NCM mode over USB, so I’m fairly sure software is not an issue, although it’s possible there’s some AT command I am needing to run that isn’t in the docs. Attached is the output of AT+EXCEPT, which seems to show a crash. I considered it might be a power shortage, but now I’ve got it running on a bench power supply that has more than enough juice, and no change. Out of ideas at this point. I’m on a T-Mobile sim, not AT&T, so perhaps that’s an issue? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jim
