Hilo3g GPRS connection when roaming

Hello,

I can’t get a data connection if I try with a SIM card, which is roaming. If I try SIM cards which register in home networks, all is OK. Roaming SIM cards works aslo well in HiloNC modules, but don’t work witch Hilo3g module.
I’ve no idea where to search, maybe there is a locking mechanism in the Hilo3g module? But it takes some time after, the NO CARRIER +KUDP_NOTIF: 1,5 message appears, there should be some timeout.

What’s the newest firmware version of the Hilo3g modules?

Hi,

The latest firmware of HiLo3G is 1.40. Please contact the distributor to get it.
Please upgrade to 1.40 and test gain. Thanks.

At last I’ve got the 1.40 firmware, but now I can’t upgrade the module :frowning:

I have connected the module via the HiLo Develepopment Board and used a USB/RS232 converter for the serial interface. This worked for Hilonc modules with old Hiloupgrader.
The UART connecton is not complete, RI and DCD are not connected.

so, I’ve got modules with version 1.40 from our distributer, same error, so what should we do?
