I am looking to replace the now very dated MC7354 with either an MC7455 or EM7511 (via PCI-e to M.2 adapter). Can this be done? Looks like these modules are very configurable, but will installing one of these cause an issue with the software on the main board of the gateway? Has anyone done this? Do you have any application notes? Looking to get another year or two out of this great product until such time that 5G matures a bit in our area here.

You may purchase the MP70 to use MC7455 or EM7511 and update the ALEOS firmware and radio module firmware properly.
