Cannot upgrade MC7455 ATT firmware

I am trying to upgrade the MC7455 radio module firmware in a brand new RV50X.

I am using the following link’s North America ATT Operator RV50X firmware: https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airlink/software_downloads/rv50/rv50-firmware-list/#sthash.58CVdmcV.dpbs

So I go into Software and Firmware > click Upgrade Radio module > select the ATT firmware file (http://downloads.sierrawireless.com/airlink/RV50/4.13.0/MC7455_02.32.11.00_ATT_002.070_000.iso)…

But when I try to Update, the GUI displays an error saying it is ‘unable to mount’ the firmware file.

Has anyone else had an issue like this?

ALEOS firmware was 4.9, I was able to upgrade it to 4.13. Just can’t get the radio module to upgrade.

Hi @JayK

Please unplug the power cable and wait for a few minutes then plug it again. After gateway power-up, please check the radio firmware and update the radio module firmware again.

Or you can upgrade it through ALMS, it will upgrade ALEOS software and Radio module firmware in a job.

Please refer to page 24 -> 31 in the AirLink RV50/RV50X Software Configuration Guide to update ALEOS Software and Radio Module Firmware.

Can you share the “Radio Module Firmware” and “Software and Firmware” screenshots on your RV50x?
