GX400 - System Reboots

Hi All,

Under the Admin > Advanced tab of the UI I see a field that says “Number of System Reboots”… What exactly does this mean? No one has been administratively rebooting the device. Does the GX400 reboot itself after losing connectivity to network or is their something over the EVDO channel that reboots the device?

The ALEOS doesn’t have any specific information on this.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,
This means the number of times the modem has been rebooted. This includes the Reboot button on AceManager, pressing the reset button on the modem or power cycling the modem.

Depending if the Keep Alive or Watchdog feature in the WAN/Cellular tab is configured, the modem can reboot itself if it detects that there is no cellular connection.

Thanks,
Alex
