Gl7812 not register to the network

I have problem with GL7812 not register to the network. The unit was purchased from Mouser USA. I am in Thailand using normal 4G Thailand SIM card. I tested it with 2 different operator SIM, both are not working. I test both SIM card with mobile phone, both work fine.

Below are my AT command to check the modem.

Is your SIM card for LTE CAT-M network?
(I don’t quite think your mobile phone is for LTE CAT-M network)

My SIM is normal mobile phone SIM. Will a normal SIM works?

My application is only to receive SMS and send to display via RS232. Normal SIM used to work on GL8200.

you need to check with the network operator to see if this SIM is for LTE CAT-M or NBIOT network.

On the other hand, if you use your SIM card in phone with 2G network, can it register successfully?
If yes, that means your SIM card supports 2G.
Then you can switch the GL7812 to use 2G by AT+KSRAT command
