FX30S looking for the latest Windows Driver to connect

Hi there, I have the SIerra Wireless FX30S gateway that came as part of the Electriq Solar battery BMS management solution.
I’m trying to connect using my windows laptop I down loaded the Driver file mentioned in your website. Which is this one https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/legato/drivers-for-wp75xx_wp76xx_wp8548-series-modules---build-4836/#sthash.dsfnUvr3.dpbs
It doesn’t seem to work. MY laptop is Win 11 and this driver is from over 5 to 6 years ago. So not sure if I need to use an old windows version for using this driver.
I need to connect to the FX30S so that I could transfer , update some of the files that are tied to the Battery management system.
So appreciate your help.

The web site still delivers an old version, that WIn11 rejects because of an expired signature. Fingers crossed this one works.

Nope. Still fails.
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
An Application Control policy has blocked this file.

BTW, do you mean the ECM driver has problem as this discussion thread?

Ah, no… thanks!!! 5087 was “latest” release on the page I found. I’ll try 5413 and will reply with status.

BTW, SOURCE even 5087 was only availalbe from your link… going through SOURCE to find FX30 device drivers gives really old version.

No luck. Latest WP77xx does not include the USB-to-ethernet driver.

Ah… ECM driver is apparently the one I’m struggling with. We need USB-to-ethernet to “build” a modem for customers.
The WP77* drivers don’t seem to include that.
I read your other posts on that subject… is there any solution in sight? Are we still needing to bypass Windows security to support FX30?

the solution could be one of the following:

  1. contact distributor to get a new ECM driver (internal ticket number: HSWOEMP-6006)
  2. rebuild NCM driver in yocto image to use NCM driver instead of ECM driver
  1. use USB raw data port to dial up so that user can SSH via USB raw data port

My research suggests the Microsoft change rejecting the driver didn’t happen until early 2026

Wow okay. I went with the full goodwe route so it is connevted through the wifi device of goodwe.
