FX30S AT!FWD=FACTORYRECOVERY returns ERROR

Hi all,

I would like to do a factory recovery for the FX30S that I have, however the command AT!FWD=FACTORYRECOVERY always return ERROR. Therefore, I guess, the reset button on the device is not working. I like to do that because I can not login with ssh root@192.168.2.2. It returns “Permission denied (publickey).” I suppose I did not understand what I was doing when first played with the device.

I updated the firmware as indicated here : https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airprime/software/wp77xx/wp77xx-firmware-release-14,-d-,1/#sthash.7PJUOpbq.dpbs but it did not help.

Hi Romain.B,

Let try the following steps :

  1. Enable reset button to perform a factory reset by AT!FWD=FACTORYRECOVERY,ENABLE
  2. Query status by AT!FWD?FACTORYRECOVERY
    response should be (ENABLE OK)
  3. Press and hold reset button for 10 seconds

You can find reset button as the following picture:

Thanks for the reply, however, my issue is that, actually, the command :

Returns ERROR.
Therefore, I can not go further for the reset.

Hi @Romain.B
You’ve installed the stock WP module firmware. You need to install the FX30 version from the Source, but R11 doesn’t support Legato 19.11.5
We expect an FX30 R14.1 release will be available within the next month or so.
