FX30(WP7607-1) eth0 missing, bricked?

First time with this FX30, Was attempting to get the FX30 to be on a fresh state to re flash my firmware.
Messed around and tried a couple of things like AT!RMARESET=OEM and rm -rf /data/*. Thinking factory reset would bring everything back to default if i messed up.

Now I’m only able to see 192.168.2.2 on ecm0 but eth0 is non existence now with the 192.168.13.31.

Appreciate any help!

From the user guide, there is a page showing how to do factory reset:

you can see here on how to erase the userapp partition:

You can also upgrade the firmware and see if there is any improvement:

Hello, thanks for the quick feedback,

Factory reset wouldn’t bring the eth0 up as well. I tried a couple of times.

also I tried to update the firmware with AT!BOOTHOLD but this was what I get

from the release note, it shows how to upgrade firmware:

Awesome. I didn’t catch this. let me give it a try

do i copy it on /tmp? when its about done the connection just hangs and i have to reset the modem for it to come back alive again. I think its having not enough space

yes , you can copy to /tmp folder

i tried twice, and it failed when the transfer bar turns full green

How about transfer to /home/root ?

You might also check “df -h” for the storage space

am i doing df -h right?

looks like tmp has 76.2M should be able to take the 66M+ file

Yes, should be enough

/home/root is also big enough

ok i try again on home/root/ now

ok it managed to stick this time!

Session all ended and I’m hoping it comes back

Am I doing it right?

after more than 30mins its not coming back, I gave up and did a AT!RESET after that a AT!RMARESET=1
Now its back! really not sure what happened there but thank you so much!!
