Hello, is it possible to set the platform IP address where to send data using the NB-IoT connectivity?
Could you please clarify, are you trying to set the ip address of your cellular connection? Ie the rmnet0 interface?
no, i mean if the FX30 is programmable so that I can send data to a specific NB-IoT platform using protocols such as coap, udp, lwm2m
I’m still not quite sure what you’re asking, but yes, the FX30 does indeed use those protocols when communicating with AirVantage already.
Note however, there are known issues with Legato 18.06.1 and newer and AVMS FOTA does not work on the NB-IoT network, so you would need to switch to CatM or GSM.
Thank you Chris.
I wonder if the FX30 have to send data mandatorily to AirVantage or if it’s possible to change the IoT platform where to send the data.
Not using airVantage isn’t officially supported, but I do recall seeing a similar request on one of the forums. I couldn’t find it but do some searching. Check the Legato or mangOH forum too.
