Hi all. I am trying to test avms capabilities of an HL6528 module.
With the command AT+KBCAP I found AVMS is enabled.
AT+KBCAP
+KBCAP: 0x200b
AVMS: 1
ECALL: 1
GNSS: 0
TLS: 1
TTS: 0
DSSS: 0
DBV: 2
PARAM: 7173B
UBOOT: UBOOT.000.06
But when I try the command AT+WDSC, an error message comes up.
AT+WDSC=3,5
+CME ERROR: avms services prohibited
The firmware version of the module is 3.00
AT+CGMR
SIERRA HL6N,003.00
What does it mean avms services are prohibited?
Thanks in advance
jp
Hi,
Could you share your module’s serial number by giving at+kgsn=3 command

Alex, thanks for your response.
The module´s serial number is GX419100340710.
The original firmware version was SIERRA HL6N,000.18 .It was updated with HiloUpgrader, but the module still behaves the same way.

Hi,
It seems like you are using old module which doesn’t have AVMS credentials.
you have to ship those modules back to sierra wireless to get new modules with AVMS credentials…
Thanks,
Alex

Alex,
Thank for your information. I will do more tests as soon as I get newer modules on the next weeks.
