Enable GPS Comm Port in Windows 10 from a MC7354

I have already searched for this info on the internet and this forum and haven’t turned up any solutions. So I will ask away…

I would like to learn how to enable a GPS Comm Port in Windows 10 using a MC7354 embedded card. I have a use for nmea data to work realtime with Google Earth Pro. Earth Pro only searches for installed comm ports. So how does one accomplish this? Is there a driver that brings out this functionality? Or, is there a procedure someone can point me to? I would sure hate to purchase a separate USB GPS module when this functionality is already part of the MC7354. How does one activate/access this feature?

I am having the same issue. Did you find any resolution on this problem?

open your regedit, go to the following path:

HKLM > SOFTWARE > Sierra Wireless > QDL
Change the USBCOMP key from 9 to 8.

Thank you ! That works!
