EM7565 LTE and AT commands at same time in Turris Omnia

I installed EM7565 into turris omnia router, but /dev/ttyUSB2 is used for LTE connectiona configured in Luci and it is locked during connection. When I want to use AT commands, I need to disconnect LTE uplink and after then I can use the ttyUSB2 port. On port ttyUSB1 is GPS NMEA port. I found some topics, for example https://forum.sierrawireless.com/t/em7565-firmware-problems-with-ca/9716/1 when people use AT commands and have connected uplink, but I am not able do both thinks in the same time. Is necessary something special to get AT commands working during connection?

Hi,

To answer you question simply, if the unit is using a PPP dial up connection on the UART then there is no way to get access to AT commands at the same time.

However, if you are using the AT port for the network connection then it must be a PPP dial up which would not be able to deliver the speeds talked about in the ticket that you mentioned.

It is really down to the Turris guys as to how they have implemented it to tell you if you can do what you want to do, we cannot really help you here.

Regards

Matt

Use MBIM to connect.

I tried this, but AT!USBCOMP=? return ERROR. maybe is necessary password, for AT!ENTERCND but i dont known any.

Google for “entercnd”. It’s there in the top 5 hits.

The password is a wellknown secret so they could have just put it in the manual. But as long as they don’t, I’m not going to post it here.

They also publish it here in the forum, from official (at least I think they are) employees.
