EM7455 GPS No Fix , NMEA not implemented

Hi there,

I own two EM7455 cards which are running on windows 11 Pro.

All cellular connections to German Telekom T-Mobile work fine. But: GPS is just an awful mess.

I’ve been reading through the internet for weeks now trying to make the GPS function of both cards working but without success. I can enable GPS and I can start the fix session however I never get a fix even though up to 14 satelittes are in view.

Everything seems to work except when it comes to NMEA commands I get the stupid error message “NMEA not implemented” even though I get “ok” if I start NMEA.

Same for both cards and in the meantime I am pset and pissed off as fuck since the two cards pretend to work but actually are unable to get a GPSFIX and deliver silly “NMEA not implemented” error messages which really just annoys me.

I also watched the so called tutorial an Youtube which for me is comepletely useless as I can enter all commands which result in an “OK” response but no GPSFIX nor usesful data is provided.

Gents, why the heck is it so difficult to develop a command structure that is easy to use and intuitive to use? It seems in regard to user friendlyness your modules are stuck back in the 80s where all of us were fiddling around with analog modems.

PLEASE give me detailed and WORKING direction how to make this work

Is there any nmea frame outout in nmea port?

What firmware are you using?

What is the problem then?

The problem is that I get the “NMEA not implemented” message and up to 12 satellites in view but no fix. I use the SW GNSS Tool
