EM7430 comes up with no service since SIM Card was changed

Hi all,

I have a very urgent problem. Our truck drivers use a Panasonic tablet to do their work. Last weekend we had to change the SIM cards because of a new contract with the provider.

Since this change all tablets with EM7430 has no service. Tablets with EM7305 are working fine.

I read a lot in this forum and it seems to be a known issue but I cannot solve the problem.

Have you checked the LTE band and see if the module is supported?

How can I check the LTE band of my carrier? or what do you mean?

Carrier is the same as before. So the LTE band can be the problem?

So 2 things have changed 1. SIM 2. APN settings.

Did you check what the band is used in em7305?

Btw, did you check at+cpin?

how to force band 3? actually “all bands” are activated and 3 is not an option.

firmware is SWI9X30C_02.38.00.00

You need to check the following

At!entercnd=“A710”
At!band=?

At!entercnd=“A710” shows error. is the command wrong?

band see above

Then your module cannot be unlocked to set band as you don’t know the password
