Customise sender

Hi

I’ve been searching this in other expertise areas, but could find no answer. Wonder if you guys at wavecom developer can help me.

Currently I’m using a Wavecom modem to send automatic SMS, via a javax.comm application.
Is it possible to customise the sender’s tel no in such a way, so that our client (SMS Receiver) only see our company’s name instead of our tel no.

Hi Rusyinni,

I don’t think that this is possible. If it were possible, you also could easily pretend that the SMS originated from another mobile number… I am pretty sure that this can not be done (except maybe if you implement your own SMSC… and in that case you also probably need to follow some rules, so even then it may be forbidden to do that…)
