Can RV50's USB Port Supply DC Power?

Using the AirLink configuration menu I have enabled the USB port.

Can I steal a miniscule amount of DC power from this port? My Fluke multimeter says “no”.

What am I missing? The RV-50 users guide says that the port is USB 2.0 compliant.

Hi Jolson,

Your multimeter is correct. The RV50 USB port does not output any power. It is used to provide hosts an alternative method of connection by configuring the USB interface to act as a virtual Ethernet or virtual serial port.
