BX3105 DevKit, Upgrading firmware

I’m currently evaluating a BX3105, and I’ve noticed the firmware on it is quite old:

AT+FMR
P1.0.0.201805311132.BX310x.1

What’s involved in updating it to 2.5, I was going to try using the upgrade tool, and the image available on the website, however I noticed in the devkit instructions they quite strongly suggest not using the “boot cfg” button unless instructed to do so.

All you need to do is get GPIO27 to Vpads and when you reset the unit it will power up in boot mode. So do thi, run the upgrade tool and reboot the unit.
