Is the BC118 over the air update still supported via the Blue Creations Melody Smart App?
The latest versions of iOS and Android apps crash or hang when attempting to find firmware files.

Yes they should be what are the versions of everything you are using? There was an issue that the latest android version had not been post to the ply store a few months ago but that should be resolved by now.
