Hello,
Here I am again with another problem with this module, now I’m trying to do FTP
(the NTP from my previous post is still not working)
ATI
WS6318
OK
AT+CMEE=1
OK
AT+WIPCFG=1
OK
AT+WIPBR=1,6
OK
AT+WIPBR=2,6,11,“internet.proximus.be”
OK
AT+WIPBR=2,6,0,“”
OK
AT+WIPBR=2,6,1,“”
OK
AT+WIPBR=4,6,0
OK
AT+WIPCREATE=4,1,“ourftpserver”,21,“username”,“password”
+CME ERROR: 3
AT+WIPCREATE=4,1,“ourftpserver”,“username”,“password”
+CME ERROR: 3
The error means (I believe) the operation is not allowed.
trying:
AT+WIPCREATE=4,1,“ourftpserver”
+CME ERROR: 837
at least this is in the manual: bad protocol
It looks as if the hardware does not support the commands described in the manual?
On this forum, I found some posts referring to checking whether the internet protocol feature is enabled, but the command used does
not work on the WS6318 (AT+WCFM or AT+WCFM=5 or AT+WCFM? or AT+WCFM=? → all result in ‘ERROR’).
I’m using the “AT Command Manual for Firmware L30” for “AirPrime WS6318”, which also has the following info on the first page:
4111702
5.0
April 12, 2012
Is there a way of figuring out what version of the firmware the module has?
Any clues anyone?
Thanks,
Marleen
