You can try ubuntu16 where some other user and myself can build both R16 and R17

Compiler WP7702 error

ubuntu 16 PC but 64 bit, you can try with 64bit PC

you can try the followings: open /home/test/workspace/WP7607_R17/yocto/poky/meta/recipes-core/glib-networking/glib-networking_2.62.4.bb in line 15, change it to PACKAGECONFIG ??= "gnutls openssl"
