Hi,
it has the same cause of failure but it seems that it is not the same case:
The cause of its problem seems to be that it did not enter the yocto directory before sending the make command.
In my case, I send the make command to the /home/Documents/sourceMangoh directory which is the directory where I made the repo command to download the source code from GitHub.
I am a beginner at Yocto so I don’t know if this is normal behavior but in my error:
Summary: 2 failed tasks:
The system is trying to retrieve time-genoff from meta-swi-mdm9x28-bin but I am using a WP8548, shouldn’t it be meta-swi-mdm9x15-bin instead?

I’m having the same problem! The R16 does not work too. Did you find some solution?
I am facing the same issue, building just the base Yocto Image for WP7702:
(Linux Distro Source from the following webpage:)

@jyijyi same exact failure reason, maybe the protocol used to download the files is changed? But then why did it just fail for these two files, I am wondering.

just for testing, do you find problem to compile WP76 R16.0.1 yocto source?
No I didn’t try that. Since my device is WP7702, I tried the Linux Distro Source for wp77xx, which is R14.1 I believe

Seems same issue as this one
Hi @jyijyi This issue there seems to be different (although the error is the same). Basically due to presence of $(PWD) instead of $(CURDIR) in Makefile, it is throwing the error when run make command from outside Yocto directory, but I am running make from inside Yocto directory. But still, I am trying this solution form the post to check if it works. Thanks for this! Will get back here with updates.
Hi @jyijyi I tried the solution (changed the makefile and replaced $(PWD) with $(CURDIR) at the sorresponding places mentioned in the sample Make file shared on the post comments). Still getting the same error (I expected that, since the issue in his case was due to path.
