SW documents that the firmware (modem, yocto, legato) on the WP7700 can be updated via USB or over the air (AirVantage). It would appear that this cannot be done from an application running under Linux/legato. If anyone has information to the contrary could you please let me know.

Thanks for the tip, I found “fwupdate” executable in the target (i.e. WP7700) side. Documentation is a bit hard to understand but I will follow up on the legato forum as it is discussed there.
