WP7607-1 no RESET_OUT_N pulse on reboot

We are developing a custom board using a WP7607-1. The board also has a USB3503 and LAN9500A chips. When doing a warm reset (doing a reboot in the shell), the RESET_OUT_N pin is not toggled after reset. This causes the USB chips not to initialize after a reboot. When I insert a WP7502 into the socketinstead, it works. I can confirm this by seeing a 100-200 ms pulse on the RESET_OUT_N pin. Is this something that isn’t implemented yet in the WP7607-1 firmware? I’m running the latest firmware version:

Device: WP7607-1
FSN: x
Firmware Version: SWI9X07Y_02.16.02.00 000000 jenkins 2018/04/19 19:59:02
Bootloader Version: SWI9X07Y_02.16.02.00 000000 jenkins 2018/04/19 19:59:02
MCU Version: 002.009
PRI Part Number (PN): 9907364
PRI Revision: 001.003
Carrier PRI Name: GENERIC
Carrier PRI Revision: 002.032_000

Last Reset Cause: Power Down
Resets Count: Expected: 65 Unexpected: 19

I think WP7607-1 & WP7502 are using different baseline.
For WP7607-1 “RESET_OUT_N” pin is multi function pin. For example Dual SIM Switch System will use this pin.

You are better to another GPIO for it. Force it become GPIO6.
