Hello all, i work with a system that uses the HL76xx modem series, and currently we want to support the HL7692, HL7618RD and HL7688.
The main development was made on the HL7692, and when I was “porting” it to the HL7618 (Verizon) I have some strange behavior: I cannot save the user profile. For example, i set AT+WMANTSEL=1 and then AT&W. After a module reset with AT+CFUN=1,1 the setting is lost, returning +WMANTSEL: 0 again.
I can observe some strange things like this also with other commands, like AT+CGREG=1 that is lost after a power cycle and sometimes with AT+KSLEEP=2.
In the HL7692 version i don’t see this.
Any idea why this might happen?
Hi lucasRotava,
Regarding WMANTSEL not persistent issue, it’s fixed in new FW. so
For HL7618RD, please retest in v1.8 or newer.
For HL7688, please retest in v2.11.3.0 or newer.
And check also +CGREG / +KLSEEP, it should work fine as well.
Look, what happened here. Is this expected? Did i do something wrong? This seems to be related to my other problem here
Unfortunately because of technical reasons i cannot continue digging into that right now, i´ll have to wait till later
