USB detection

I’de like to install the USB driver for my Q2686. It is plug on the dev kit. Unfortunately, by connecting the USB cable to my computer, Win XP does not find it… is there another way to install the USB driver ?

Thanks

OK…

It was the AT+WMFM command that i had to use to activate USB

Can I use usb camera with Q2686? It’s usb slave at Q2686!

Q2686 has a USB device controller. It can’t work with a USB camera as it needs a USB Host on the oher side.

Which AT+WMFM did you type ?

I tried AT+WMFM=0,1,3 but it didn’t change anything (not detected by windows as a new USB device, i.e. nothing happens).

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. Windows cannot find the USB driver for ‘WAVECOM MODEM’.

And there is no USB driver available at the Wavecom download site.

EDIT: The driver is included inthe OpenAT SDK. If you download it from their website and install it then the temporary files are located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Locale settings\Temp\RarSFX0\Drivers\USB\win2k_xp

Following command enables the USB port:
AT+WMFM=0,1,3,1
