Hi,
I’m using XA1210 with the firmware version: H6736.03_UU_8021
I connected a battery to the VBACKUP pin and I get readings every 1s perfectly.
I verified in my tests that if the module is kept without the main power for a few minutes when fed back, it performs a Hot Start (provides valid readings in less than 5 seconds), however if the main power is removed for a few hours it performs a Cold Start (provides valid readings after 1 minute).
How could I always guarantee a Hot Start? Sending the Hot Start command ($ PHD, 06.40, U, BB,3*14) each time the module is reset?
Is using the XA1110 module advantageous in this case due to the EASY (Embedded Assist System) feature?
