I accidentally entered an incorrect password, I think, but maybe not. I cannot reset this password even by performing the factory reset procedure, which consists of pressing the Reset button for more than 10 seconds during FX30 startup. (The FX30 seems to freeze; you have to cut the power to restart.)
The reset button is active according to the results of the AT commands.
I reprogrammed the firmware using the FDT tool with a .cwe file.
All this without success. Still same message:
Server refused our key
Access denied

You need to contact distributor to get a tool to resize partition
After resizing partition, the userapp partition will be erased and then you should be able to reset password

What kind of tool do we need? I don’t think they have it.
Is it possible with adb shell mode?

How do we get in contact with Sierra FAE? We lost access to our device over the weekend and now our password does not work. From reading this post it appears the only way forward is to contact Sierra FAE but there are multiple ways to contact Sierra and need guidance.

I looked at that earlier and made an account but did not know what option to choose.

Is it the Repair Request → Repair Case ? I thought this was a form for shipping the device in for repairs. It also says: “Repair and Warranty Only. For support cases, please login to create a new case or register for an account.” However I am already logged in.

The only other option I see is “Contact us” but the only options are the following which led me to believe it is not for my issue.

  1. I cannot find what I am looking for
  2. I am having trouble registering
  3. There is an error with the site
  4. There is a user violating the community guidelines
  5. General Feedback
  6. Other

I also saw the General Public discussion area, but I am not sure I should post there. I am not sure how it is different from here.

We bought our fx30s from digikey, does that affect our ability to create a support request?

how about create a case after you log in to the Customer Support Portal?

BTW, you can also see if you can use swiflash to erase userapp partition in old FW of FW30(WP7702)(e.g. R11 or R9)

The Create a Case button is not shown for me. I read somewhere that I need a community manager to enable it for me.

We are on R15 right now. We just purchased it. I read from the forum that if it is using the new memory that it’s incompatible. I’ll try and check that. When I tried swiflash earlier I used the same revision it came with. I was only able to find the .spk file by copying it from my legato workspace leaf-data workspace.

I remember r15 cannot downgrade to previous firmware, but you can double check
