SL8082T/ BT -- Is it recommended for New design?

We are planning to use SL8082T/BT for new design…please suggest on below

  1. is it recommended for new designs
  2. Can we port Q2687Rd code into SL8082 – is there any complexity
  3. Any challenges
  4. Does it have near EOL?

Hi,

SL8082T/BT is expected to stand till 2019 at least, some refresh may have to be considered during the period to cover some component EOL if it happens.

I haven’t actually tried this particular case yet, but my general experience so far has been that Open-AT apps port quite easily between different hardware versions …
