I just received a prototype board using SL8080T. Most of the stuff are working, USB works, GPIO, EXTINT, etc are also working. I am writing the app using Open AT. But currently no app is loaded to this unit.
But SIM card is not being detected by the module. So I cannot connect to the network at all. (We have another hand soldered prototype board that works, the SIM card connections are based on the SL8080T recommendations) All connections look fines to me. I can see 1.8v and 3.v going through the SIM_VREG lines at the startup for few seconds and then low after that. Seems like it can’t talk to the SIM or some configuration issue.
ANY HELP WOULD BE Appreciated.
