Firstly I could not find an appropriate tag in the dropdown, if you can let me know where this should go I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi all, I’m new to this modem and tried a few things to communicate with the modem with no luck.
The modem is detected $lsusb shows
Bus 001 Device 044: ID 1199:9051 Sierra Wireless, Inc. AirCard 340U
When I try to list the port it is connected to I fail to make any sense of it. Neither ports ttyS or ttyUSB yield any accessible port, I tried a few random ports but just can not communicate using Minicom via AT commands.
It shows in the Ubuntu interface as a network connection, however I can not initiate it to make a connection.
Totaly lost
