RV55 Specifications for AT/AAF scripting

Hi Developers,

We recently bought the RV55 (EM7565 Global without WiFi) because we needed to create an alert system which could be in any country around the world and make call/send text message with a SIM card in it. A business manager from an IT company told me we could do this using AAF/LUA scripts to do so. I tried the AT commands to make call and send text message via the SSH but it does not seem to work at all. So is my question, is it possible to do calls and send text via AAF scripts/ AT commands or do you recommend some other equipment to do so? Because I think the guy who makes me place this order, did not check at all the specs and I was trusting him at this moment so I don’t think RV55 was the equipment made for my purpose.
I also thought the command AT!ENTERCND=“A710” should work to unlock AT commands but it does not.

  • EM7565 does not support call functionality, you can refer to more information here: (if you must use call functionality, please consider using a different module like the WP76)
    Voice Calls using EM7565

  • If you still want to use the RV55 router with SMS functionality, I have a few questions:

    ***The configuration template file is in ACEmanager → Template, provide any name you desire for the Template Name, and then press Download to retrieve the template file.

    ***Collect logs procedure:

    a. Go AceManager > Admin > Configure Logging

    Set all log levels to DEFAULT (NOTICE)

    Set Linux Syslog to DISPLAY

    b. Reboot the gateway.

    c. Perform your test again.

    d. Go Admin → View log → Download Logs
